Welcome to LAPA LAPA is a not-for-profit organization based in the state of New York. We are a volunteer association of adoptive parents committed to aiding people seeking to adopt children (as well as those who already have) by: Intensely researching new sources of adoption in Latin America Supplying materials to orphanages Providing educational and social activities ANNOUNCEMENTS Latin Culture Night, LAPA's biggest and most exciting event, is Saturday, May 3rd at 5pm. We have some great things planned including: Delicious Latin food Arts & crafts activities for the kids Latin dance and music program for all ages Welcome new arrivals Beautiful craftwork from Guatemala on sale at really great prices (Most of the proceeds go to help artisans in Guatemala) Nice raffle items This is a wonderful opportunity for adults and kids alike to reconnect with old LAPA friends and make new ones.
